Jackpotted Class Divisions
Class
Routine
1.
The classes will follow the American Quarter Horse
Association Trail and Equipment Rules. Junior horses and senior
horses must be shown with equipment legal to their age division.
2.
Trail course patterns will be posted at the show grounds one
hour before the show and practice obstacles will be available.
Courses will be walked with the course setter, prior to the class
commencing.
3.
Exhibitors are responsible to know the rules.
4.
The Judge’s decision is final.
5.
All participants must go in the order drawn or be
disqualified.
Payback
1.
All classes will pay back up to 50% of the horses shown to a
maximum of 10 placings. If the number does not divide evenly, the
50% will be rounded up to include one more placing e.g. 15 horses
will pay to 8th place.
2.
A maximum of 60% of the entry money and 100% of the added
money will constitute the payback for each added money class
(minimum of 40% of entry money to a maximum of 100% is retained for
show expenses). The money will be portioned into shares, e.g. 10
placings: 1st receives 10 shares, 2nd - 9
shares, … 10th – 1 share.
3.
All added money will be divided amongst the three Divisions,
based on the shares for each e.g., if there are 12 entries in Novice
Rider Trail, 5 entries in Novice Horse Trail and 16 entries in Open
Trail, the total number of shares would be 63 (21 for Novice Rider
paying back 6 places, 6 for Novice Horse paying back 3 places and 36
for Open Trail paying back 8 places). The value of a share is based
on added money plus entry money to be paid back, divided by total
number of shares..
4.
All paybacks will be mailed to the owner of the horse within
30 days of show.
